Director, Partnerships and Strategic Relationships
Job summary

Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will build and develop strategic relationships with pharmaceutical companies and healthcare professionals. He/She will be responsible for continuously identifying new opportunities to strengthen and expand our partnerships with these stakeholders. Key responsibilities include promoting the full range of services while ensuring that partners’ needs and expectations are met.

Tasks and responsibilities
  • Proactively identify new opportunities and leads to expand the partnership network across Canada
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, pharmaceutical partners, hospital networks, and community sites to grow their collaboration with PMG
  • Design and promote innovative solutions with key stakeholders
  • Identify, assess, and proactively deliver solutions that are mutually beneficial for stakeholders, PMG, and most importantly, patients
  • Collaborate with pharmaceutical partners to help design solutions that support mutual success
  • Identify and communicate partners’ short- and long-term strategic objectives
  • Analyze business opportunities, market potential, and supporting data to pursue opportunities aligned with our strategy
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the competitive landscape and industry offerings actively engage with business units and leadership to ensure delivery of best-in-class solutions to partners
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks while working toward organizational goals and targets
  • Participate in the implementation of new pharmaceutical product launches
  • Attend industry events and conferences, engaging with partners through these forums
  • Maintain strong relationships with specialist physician groups and provide exceptional service to support retention and long-term loyalty
Skills and qualifications
  • University degree
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry (brand experience required) experience in neurology and oncology is an asset
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory
  • Demonstrated ability to engage, motivate, inspire, and build strategic relationships with specialist physicians
  • Strong ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver services to external partners
  • Strong business acumen and relationship management experience well-established network within the industry
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, including strong written and verbal communication abilities required to represent the pharmacy
  • Proven skills in problem identification and resolution, creativity, and innovation
  • Entrepreneurial mindset ability to work independently self-motivated
  • Demonstrated agility and a positive response to ambiguity and change
  • Proficiency with computer tools, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bilingualism in French and English is required
